This shot is named after Barnyard Slut. They've broken up, but Mark Lewellen has enough reunions to keep things interesting.

Barnyard Slut

  • 2 Knox Gelatin packets
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Coffee
  • 1/2 Cup cold water
  • 1 small box of Butterscotch Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Whiskey or Brandy
  1. STIR hot coffee and sugar into Knox gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the alcohol and cold water and stir until mixed. Cool at room temperature about 20-30 mins.
  3. POUR milk into a separate container. Add the box of Butterscotch pudding and mix well until completely blended.
  4. QUICKLY STIR the pudding into the Jell-O until well blended. It should appear quite opaque.
  5. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  6. REFRIGERATE until firm.

  • 1 small box of Black Cherry Jell-O (or Black Berry or Currant gelatine)
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 Cup cold water
  • 1/4 Cup Rum (preferably spiced)
  • 2 tablespoons Vermouth
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime, Lemon juice or Sweet and Sour mix
  1. STIR boiling water into black cherry gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Rum, Vermouth, juice and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

  • 1 small box of Cherry Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/4 Cup Lime Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Whiskey

  2. ADD the cold water, Lime juice, Whiskey and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

  • 1 small box of Strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/4 Cup cold water
  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Vodka
  1. STIR boiling water into strawberry gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Lemon juice, Vodka and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

  • 1/3 Cup Midori Melon Liqueur
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon or Lime juice
  1. STIR boiling water into citrus gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Tequila, Midori, juice and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 Cup cold water
  • 1 Cup Milk

Here's a shooter named after Nightlife Critters, Oklahoma's answer to Tuatara. The critters are a bunch of local musicans from different bands playing lounge music. Every gig has a different line up. Members of the Townies, Starlight Mints, The Flaming Lips, Melodious Thunk Infinet, etc... have all played in the Nightlife Critters.

  • 1 small box of Grape Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/3 Cup cold water
  • 1/3 Cup Whiskey
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon or Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Triple Sec
  1. STIR boiling water into grape gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water Whiskey, juice, Triple Sec and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

  1. STIR boiling water into gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Peppermint Schnapps and stir until mixed. Cool at room temperature about 20-30 mins.
  3. POUR milk into a separate container. Add the box of pudding and mix well until completely blended.
  4. QUICKLY STIR the pudding into the jell-o until well blended. It should appear quite opaque.

  • 1 Cup boiled apple juice
  • 1/2 Cup beer
  • 3 Tablespoons Orange Juice
  • 1/2 Cup red or white wine
  1. STIR boiling apple juice into cranberry gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the beer, Orange Juice, and Wine and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.
