Chainsaw Kittens

  • 1 small box of Red Jell-O (Raspberry preferably)
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1/3 Cup Rum
  • 3 Tablespoons Frangelico
  1. STIR boiling water into Red gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Rum, Frangelico and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

Neutered Kitty

  • 1 small box of Red Jell-O (Cherry preferably)
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 2/3 Cup water or Ginger Ale
  • 3 Tablespoons Hazelnut Syrup
  1. STIR boiling water into red gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD cold water or Ginger Ale and Hazelnut Syrup and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

This shot is the unofficial shooter of the Jiggling Grapes of Wrath site. It is named after a song from The Chainsaw Kittens first album, Violent Religion. And it lives up to the title, so consume with caution. Party on.

Death-Out At Party Central

  • 1 small box of Grape Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/4 Cup cold water
  • 1/4 Cup of Zima
  • 3 Tablespoons Vodka
  • 1 Tablespoon Rum
  • 1 Tablespoon Gin
  • 1 Tablespoon Tequila
  1. STIR boiling water into grape gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD Zima, Vodka, Rum, Gin, and Tequila and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

This shooter is named for a song off The Chainsaw Kittens eponymous album. If you don't like Judy Garland or The Wizard Of Oz, at least check out how in-synch Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon is with the Wizard Of Oz. It's more than than backward masking and you won't screw up your audio-visual equipment.

Dorothy's Last Fling

  • 1 small box of Orange Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/3 Cup cold water
  • 1/4 Cup Vodka
  • 3 Tablespoons Vermouth
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon or Lime juice
  1. STIR boiling water into orange gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADDcold water, Vodka, Vermouth and juice and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

Feel Like A Drugstore

  • 1 packet of Knox Gelatine
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 Cup Zima
  • 1/4 Cup Triple Sec
  • 1/4 Cup Vodka, Rum or Gin
  1. STIR boiling water into Knox gelatine and sugar until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the Zima, Triple Sec, and 1/4 cup of your choice of alcohol and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

This shooter was inspired by The Chainsaw Kitten's second album. It is loosely based on the famous cocktail, The Singapore Sling.

Flipped Out In Singapore

  • 1 small box of Lemon Jell-O
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/3 Cup water
  • 3 Tablespoons Orange Juice
  • 1/3 Cup Gin
  • 1 Tablespoon Cherry Brandy or Sloe Gin
  1. STIR boiling water into lemon gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Gin, Orange Juice, Cherry Brandy or Sloe Gin and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. REFRIGERATE until firm.

I was wondering what sounds would be created if you played all four of The Chainsaw Kittens albums simultaneously. Maybe I need another shot.

King Monkey Smoke

  • 1 large box of Pineapple Jell-O
  • 1 small box of Banana Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 cold water
  • 1/2 Cup Whisky
  • 1 Tablespoon Triple Sec
  • 1 Cup Milk
  1. STIR boiling water into pineapple gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the cold water, Whisky, Triple Sec and stir until mixed. Cool at room temperature about 20-30 mins.
  3. POUR milk into a separate container. Add the box of pudding and mix well until completely blended.
  4. QUICKLY STIR the pudding into the jell-o until well blended. It should appear quite opaque.
  5. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  6. REFRIGERATE until firm

Here's the perfect Valentine Jell-O shooter. If using vanilla pudding, add strawberry flavoring.

  • 1/2 Cup Strawberry Schnapps

  • 1 Cup hot water
  • 1/2 Cup 7-Up, Sprite or other clear citrus cola.
  • 1/4 Cup Vodka
  • 3 Tablespoons of Triple Sec
  • Gummi Fish
  1. STIR boiling water into blue berry gelatine until completely dissolved.
  2. ADD the citrus cola, Triple Sec and stir until mixed.
  3. POUR into 2-3 oz.(60-90 ml) cups.
  4. ADD a single gummi fish into each cup.
  5. REFRIGERATE until firm.
